A Kutani porcelain enameled and gilt vase depicting a large group of Chinese immortal sages and karakos, also Taoist immortal Kinko with others riding a giant carp.
Many delightful scenes of creativity and leisure with many different characters. In the style of the famous pottery artist Aoki Mokubei.
It was certainly marked for Kutani Mokubei underneath, but the vase has been drilled to create a lampbase.
In good order, just the hole underneath. No breaks, lines or restoration.
